Hello there!  My name is Sean G.P.Murphy.  I am a musician based in North Andover Massachusetts.  I have been playing both stringed and percussion instruments for twenty five years.  I enjoy studio work as well as live performance, and have my own home based studio environment.

I have released my own original material on my first CD 'Sean Murphy - Cominatcha'.  The CD was recorded, copywritten and released locally in 2002.  I had written the material, recorded all of the instruments, and performed the vocals back in my home studio when I lived in Salem Massachusetts.  I am currently working on a second CD, which will hopefully be finished sometime this summer.

I am currently playing in the local rock & roll band 'The Nation'.  We have been together for nearly seven years now.  The band has performed all over the north shore of Boston, and we continue to play both private and public performances around the area.  The band is a power trio that consists of myself, my brother Ross Murphy, and Jon Anderson.  Please see 'The Nation' page for more info and gig dates.
